FAQs

What does GOTS Certified mean?

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is a textile production certification that limits the use of toxic bleaches, dyes and other chemical inputs during the production process of textiles. It is internationally recognized as the toughest organic textile standard because it goes far beyond verifying the organic farming process to include every step of manufacturing.

Are your products machine washable?

Yes, all of our products are machine washable. They are also Sanforized (pre-shrunk) and Mercerized (to reduce fading). Having said that, our products will continue to shrink 2-5% over many washes and will fade over time.

Can I use your bibs for feeding time?

Of course! Drybble™ bibs have an absorbent and waterproof layer that are great for absorbing moisture from liquid spills. Our bibs also work as a dribble bib for teething babies and as a nursing bib. You can also use them as a wipe cloth and burp cloth. However, silicone bibs work better for solid foods.

Are there any safety precautions for your products?

Yes. As a safety precaution, always remove bib before bedtime or nap time. Do not leave child unattended while using bib. Always monitor your child while wearing a bib.

Absolutely! We love working with brick and mortar stores or online vendors to arrange a wholesale program. Please contact us at info@drybble.co for more information.

Can you do custom and personalized orders?

You may choose the quantity, size, and color of the bibs or burp cloths you would like. However, I do not currently offer embroidery or any other sort of personalization beyond choosing colors/quantity.

How can I appropriately size the bibs?

Grab a tape measure and measure the neck. Then select the sizing which would allow at least 2 inches of wiggle room.

The baby bibs are 15 inches long.
The child bibs are 20 inches long.
The adult bibs are 23 inches long.

How can I care for the bibs and burp cloths?

Tumble dry low/delicate or hang dry.
Do not dry clean!

How should I care for my Drybble bibs and burp cloths?

Proper washing and care can help keep your Drybble products soft, absorbent, and performing their best for as long as possible.

*Machine Wash:* Wash your Drybble products regularly in warm or hot water with a quality laundry detergent. For heavily used products, a warmer wash can help remove oils, saliva, and other buildup.

*Use Less Detergent:* More detergent does not necessarily mean cleaner. Using too much detergent can leave residue on the fabric and may reduce absorbency over time. Follow the detergent manufacturer's recommended amount.

*Skip Fabric Softeners:* Do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets. These products can coat the cotton fibers and interfere with the fabric's natural absorbency.

*Treat Stains Promptly:* For best results, treat stains as soon as possible. Apply a small amount of liquid laundry detergent or a fabric-safe stain remover directly to the stain, allow it to sit briefly, and then wash as usual. Avoid chlorine bleach, which can damage the fabric and affect the color.

*For Heavy Buildup:* If your Drybble product seems less absorbent than it was when new, it may have developed buildup from frequent washing, detergent, oils, or other residues. An occasional deep-cleaning wash can help remove this buildup and restore absorbency.

*Dry Thoroughly:* Dry your Drybble products completely after washing. They can be tumble dried or air dried. Avoid dryer sheets.

*A Note About Heavy Use:* Drybble products are designed to withstand frequent washing, but products that are used and washed multiple times every day will naturally experience more wear over time. Heavy staining and repeated washing can eventually affect the appearance and performance of any textile product. Proper care can help maximize the life and absorbency of your Drybble products.
